In support of the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) initiative, MITRE and (ISC)2 will be hosting a national Capture the Flag (CTF) Competition. The virtual event gives high school and college students the opportunity to compete against their peers in cyber security challenges. Teams of four will work together to solve problems in steganography, software exploitation, computer forensics, cryptography, and networking.
Registration opens July 1st 2014.
The CTF competition itself will be held on August 15 and 16. The 24-hour virtual competition will start at 3:00 PM EDT on August 15 and end at 3:00 PM EDT on August 16. At the end of event, the winning team will be declared.
